Broad Functions: Assist the General Manager in overseeing and coordinating the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, associate’s retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, Safety Program, Union Agreements compliance, cleanliness and sanitation. Ensure proper training and supervision of all personnel, to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Food and Beverage standards and company and Brands policies and procedures. The Areas of Responsibilities for this position will be mainly, but not exclusive, to FOH operations.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the whole G&G operation. This department included cashiers, host/ess and food runners.
- Ensure that all the G&G items are according to guidelines, pars, clean, and properly stock at all times.
- Responsible for assigned shift, assisting in overall management.
- Supervise and coordinate assigned shift; conduct pre-shifts meetings.
- Assist in overall supervision of the department.
- Check staff punctuality and attendance, reports non-compliance.
- Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with Areas USA’s policies and procedures.
- Make employment and termination recommendations consistent with company guidelines for approval or review by the Concept Manager, General Manager and HR Manager, as applicable.
- Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
- Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
- Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner, considering Company (and CBA’s ) guidelines
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
- Place orders and establish pars according to business levels.
- Perform inventories according to guidelines.
- Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures.
- Observe, teach, and coach staff’s service.
- Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
- Follow up on food and beverage preparation.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and local regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
- Provide advice and suggestions to other managers and supervisors as needed..
- Assists in supervising the shift's operations in the restaurant and liaise with the department staff to ensure smooth operations, compliance with procedures and safety regulations and that an optimal level of quality service is achieved.
- Handle any guest complaint during assigned shift.
- Communicate with guests and receive feedback.
- Follow up on established training steps.
- Drives Areas USA’s Guest Program to exceed standards and guidelines.
- Have a continuous presence in the Concept, but especially during peak hours.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications/Requirements:
- 1. Experience in hospitality management, food and beverage, or retail industries

- 3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- 4. Knowledge of inventory management and cost control
- 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 6. Customer-oriented mindset and problem-solving capabilities
- 7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- 8. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
