Job Title: FDK and Cash Management Clerk

Department: Loss Prevention

Reports To: Director of Asset Protection and Risk Management 

Status: Non-exempt

Broad Functions: Oversees and acts as the primary contact for any cash room balancing discrepancies that may arise from any assigned locations. Responsible for working closely with the Treasury and Asset Protection Departments in cash management responsibilities as well as working with each location to ensure compliance and optimal performance in accordance with company goals. 


Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  1. Oversees and acts as the primary contact for any cash room balancing discrepancies that may arise from any assigned locations. 

  2. Manage cash requirements (liquidations) for each location and coordinate process with Accounting, Treasury, and the Asset Prevention Departments. 
  3. Conduct preliminary investigations into cash theft based upon data from the liquidation process and provides guidance in adjusting any mistake/discrepancies in the system.
  4. Pulls appropriate reports from FDK to ensure sites compliance when performing liquidations as well as monitoring cashier activity from Micros and FDK 
  5. Maintenance and creation of new locations and management of existing locations. This involves setting up regions, sites, safes, accounting, VAT, tender media, and user details in Tidel.
  6. Performs other functions as requested by the Director of Asset Protection and Risk Management


Skills and Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred 
  2. Cash Handling management experience or at least five years of front and back of the house restaurant management. 
  3. Food and Beverage experience preferred. 
  4. Proficient in Microsoft office and other associated software. Microsoft Excel experience in formulas, reports, tables and graphic representations required. 
  5. Experience with FDK, Micros preferred. 
  6. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
