Lead Food Preparer
Overview - $18.80
As a Lead Food Preparer, you will prepare food for foodservice operations, restaurants, or banquets, in accordance with the company’s operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items and stations according to company standards and specifications, setting up for anticipated business
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of food, utensils, and equipment
- Label, date, and wrap food products, adhering to ServSafe procedures
- Follow all safety, security, and kitchen procedures
Qualifications
- Prior food preparation experience is preferred, but not required
- Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets
- Ability to use kitchen tools safely
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing or walking for the entire length of the shift
- Ability to work in a kitchen environment with variable temperatures and noise levels that are moderate to high
- Manual dexterity is sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent bending and squatting and immersing hands in water
