Lead Food Preparer

Overview - $18.80 

As a Lead Food Preparer, you will prepare food for foodservice operations, restaurants, or banquets, in accordance with the company’s operational standards.

Responsibilities 

• Prepare food items and stations according to company standards and specifications, setting up for anticipated business
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of food, utensils, and equipment
• Label, date, and wrap food products, adhering to ServSafe procedures
• Follow all safety, security, and kitchen procedures

Qualifications 

• Prior food preparation experience is preferred, but not required
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets
• Ability to use kitchen tools safely

Physical Requirements 

• Frequent standing or walking for the entire length of the shift
• Ability to work in a kitchen environment with variable temperatures and noise levels that are moderate to high
• Manual dexterity is sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending and squatting and immersing hands in water
