Porter - Retail

Overview - $22.42 

As Retail Porter, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock, preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup, and performing inventory and quality control.

Responsibilities 

• Perform transfers of products and merchandise to and from the warehouse
• Receive products and merchandise, check for quality and damage, and ensure proper storage of delivered products and merchandise; perform physical inventory as needed
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Process requests for supplies, prepare merchandise for delivery, and prepare packages for shipping according to established procedures
• Ensure security of company assets

Qualifications 

• Must be at least XX years of age
• One year warehouse experience preferred
• Basic math and counting skills required

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout facility; requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching, during entire length of shift.
• Exposure to outdoors and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold depending on the season
