Broad Functions: The Program & Application Specialist will work with the Business Applications team, along with cross-functional internal departments to test and deploy new technologies, primarily CrunchTime Net Chef. The candidate will be a voice for operations throughout this critical, special assignment and will ensure that the needs of operations at both airports and travel plazas are met for purchasing and inventory functions, as well as labor management functions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Works cross functionally with Operations, Concepts & Standards, Finance, Human Resources, and IT to ensure application meets needs of field operations.
2. Assist in crafting use cases and test cases that represent business processes in real world scenarios in the field.
3. Test applications to ensure fitness for use in airports and travel plazas; identify gaps in system processes and build operational processes to resolve.
4. Build training materials to support user training.
5. Deliver training for systems and new processes to end users.
6. Deploy application to airports and travel plazas; extensive travel is required.
7. Support parallel and pilot site deployments.
8. Support location deployment and onsite support
9. Assist with data build for new locations to be deployed.
10.Provides the input necessary to ensure that the application and business has the proper processes, reports, and metrics in place to effectively run and grow the business.
11.Other duties as assigned by direct Supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Strong Operations experience, ideally in more than one concept
2. Effective Change Champion
3. Ability to train others in hands-on setting.
4. Willing to challenge the current model and suggest pragmatic solutions.
5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; an eager problem solver
6. Strong organizational skills; must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Must be technically competent and at ease with new technology.
8. Expertise in Microsoft Office products, especially excel.
9. Experience with vendor discrepancy resolution
10. Experience with labor management and scheduling
11. Experience with systems testing and/or user training is preferred.
12. Able to perform multiple tasks and adjust priorities based on direction from management.
13. Knowledge of Simphony 2 is desired

While performing the duties of this job, the employee operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is largely a sedentary role and requires color determination vision (no color blindness) and to sit for extended periods of time in front of the computer.
This position would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Some bending and/or lifting of supplies and mail in/out materials from time to time may be required.
This position requires extensive travel; for several months, position will be based in south Florida, but candidate will be traveling extensively at all locations once deployment commences.
