Broad Responsibilities: Administers human resource policies, programs and practices in Airport locations for Corporate HR Department in headquarters. Acts as liaison between corporate and remote locations in all aspects of HR functions. Carries out HR functions in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring employees; assisting local management in the planning and assigning of work tasks and responsibilities; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for labor relations, provides advice and counsel on personnel issues.
2. Administers personnel policies.
3. Prepares, recommends and maintains records and procedures for controlling personnel transactions and reporting personnel data.
4. Answers any questions and/or requests by governmental agencies, including employee complaints. Represents the company at hearings.
5. Assists Corporate HR in payroll processing, safety program, worker’s compensation claims handling and tracking.
6. Assists Corporate Benefits and Payroll Specialists in managing locally both payroll and benefits processes and procedures.
7. Confers with management regarding benefits costs, and assists in open enrollments, benefits meetings, and processes applications.
8. Manages and recommends job descriptions for Areas associates according to daily functions and responsibilities.
9. Prepares performance review forms and directs the distribution of the forms to supervisory personnel.
10. Develops and administers an effective recruitment program.
11. Coordinates recruitment efforts with hiring managers, coordinates interviews, accepts resumes and applications, interviews and assists with the final decision process.
12. Assists in the preparation of year-end reconciliation audits and reports for Corporate HR.
13. Coordinates HR internal audits and approves necessary adjustments.

14. Reports directly to the HR Director with a dotted line to the General Manager, thus ensuring a constant flow of communication between Operations and Corporate Human Resources.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree preferred in Human Resources or related field, with 5 years of working in an HR managerial position.
2. Ability to handle multiple task in an organized manner
3. Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred.
4. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, self sufficient and motivated, team-approach toward resolution of problems and providing services.
5. Computer literate: Windows, knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point
