Restaurant Manager II

Broad Responsibilities: Support and act as backup to the Unit General Manager in overseeing operations business by actively driving exceptional results, championing company culture, and building strong client relationships. Take a leading role in achieving financial, operational, and guest service objectives while modeling and promoting a best-in-class work environment. Lead training initiatives and provide direct supervision of all personnel during assigned shifts to ensure delivery of premium service that exceed Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures. 

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities: 

  1. Demonstrate mastery of all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs for the concept. 
  2. Oversee and maintain quality control systems for all food and beverage deliveries. 
  3. Manage the ordering process of concept supplies including food, beverage, smallware, chemicals and paper products. 
  4. Lead customer service recovery efforts and develop preventive measures to minimize future complaints. 
  5. Implement and maintain sanitation standards. Develop and conduct regular audits to ensure health and safety standards and liquor regulations compliance. 
  6. Oversee record keeping and develop systems to improve efficiency. 
  7. Take ownership of all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. 
  8. Processing of invoices through the proper systems 
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors for maintenance and repair services. 
  10. Supervise and enhance opening and closing procedures and security standards. 
  11. Provide detailed performance feedback to concept manager and assist in conducting performance reviews. 
  12. Enforce and audit company dress code compliance. 
  13. Develop and implement quality control measures for food preparation and service methods. 
  14. Train and mentor Restaurant Manager I staff. 
  15. Lead shifts independently in Unit General Manager's absence. 

 

Skills and Qualifications 

  1. Associates Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  2. 3-5 years restaurant management experience. 
  3. Advanced communication and leadership skills. 
  4. Proven track record of developing and implementing organizational systems. 
  5. Exceptional customer service skills with demonstrated ability to train others. 
  6. Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams. 
  7. Proven ability to drive organizational objectives and meet goals independently. 
  8. Comprehensive understanding of P&L management including labor optimization, sales growth strategies, and inventory control.
