Supv I - Commissary
Overview - $19.50
As a Commissary Supervisor, you will assist management in carrying out daily operations of the commissary and warehouse department.
Responsibilities
- Supervise commissary team, including assigning duties, training, coaching, and counseling
- Ensure proper stock of beer, soda, food, and other products are in their appropriate locations
- Maintain daily awareness of product needs; determine quantities required to adequately stock commissary
- Oversee inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of outdated material, cycle counting
- Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, passageways, elevators, and work areas
- Oversee set up machines, equipment and proper closing of assigned area
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations
- Initiate and organize procedures to set standards for the warehouse
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months food and beverage commissary or related experience required
- Previous experience with Excel or similar database management computer systems required
- Strong management skills: ability to delegate and coach others
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment following job procedures and manager instructions
- No college degree required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 165 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during the entire length of shift
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures may range from cold to hot depending on the season
