Broad Functions: Areas USA is looking for a subject matter expert in restaurant operations and CrunchTime applications, including Enterprise Manager, Net-Chef, and supporting applications (Counter, Reconciler, Teamworx, Kitchen Sync, Line check). The Systems Data Analyst will assist in implementation, monitoring, and supporting application and data configuration. In this role, you will work closely with Business Applications team, Purchasing, Concepts & Standards, Finance, HR, Operations, as well as our support functions to ensure the highest level of data integrity and data standards across all Areas Locations. Candidate will respond to and resolve support issues and data requests in a timely manner, in support of operations nationwide. The right candidate will have hands-on technical implementation experience with CrunchTime, Micros Symphony, and/or other restaurant technology solutions.

This role will be key to loading & analyzing data, so attention to detail is paramount, while also understanding the big picture and how all components fit together. Role will also assist with onboarding vendors to transact with various CrunchTime. This role will also be key to supporting a rolling deployment and will work with both business and technical teams to ensure a seamless cutover from old systems to new systems. 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:  

1.    Perform/supervise CrunchTime! database input and maintenance including, but not limited to the following Enterprise Manager & Net Chef functions, for new Locations to be deployed as well as maintenance of existing Locations and Location Data:

a.     supporting the operators during their inventory and labor posting on Saturday

b.    adding and updating company products and recipes (recipe headers & prep recipes)

c.    adding and updated location products as directed by Purchasing and/or Business Applications

d.    keeping vendor order guides current for locations & warehouse, where applicable

e.    dispersing current bid sheets to food vendors, as directed by Purchasing

f.      updating weekly and monthly bid pricing

g.    adding new and changing current vendor information into Enterprise Manager

h.    setting up new users, restaurants, and markets

i.      removing old locations and vendors on a quarterly basis

j. removing prior users as terminated

k.     inputting annual budget and maintaining current budget information

l.    mapping MICROS to Net-Chef with PLU#s for proper product destocking, working with Concepts & Standards,

and Purchasing.

  1. Assists in defining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and business rules for the supply master data, including corporate and location item masters, vendor bid information and contracts, par levels, etc.

3.    Track contracted pricing and supply weekly variance reports to vendors, including vendor performance scorecards

4.    make sure all owed credits are collected, in partner with Purchasing & A/P

5..    Prepares documentation for current state and future state processes, as well as regular project status updates, as defined by project team.

6.    Setup and maintenance of electronic data processing for our vendors

7.    Invoices, bids/catalog, Confirm Receipt & Confirm Terms, as appropriate

8.    Setup and maintenance of Fintech for our vendors

9.    Identify and communicate outstanding issues, requests, and training needs relating to Net-Chef

10.    Travel to restaurants to provide “hands-on” support to Chefs, Concept Managers, and General Managers in need of additional Net-Chef training

11.Provides the leadership and oversight necessary to ensure that the business has the proper processes, reports, and metrics in place to effectively grow the organization and identify anomalies and areas of improvement and/or cost reduction, and other KPIs, as defined by leadership.

12. Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or company leadership.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

1.  Bachelor's degree

2.  Minimum of 2-year restaurant operations experience, including deployment and maintenance of restaurant and hospitality systems

3.  Experience with CrunchTime Enterprise Manager & Net Chef required

4.  Experience with POS systems required

5. Understanding of restaurant operations and accounting methodologies

6. Expert knowledge of CrunchTime! for both the Enterprise Manager and Net-Chef platforms

7. Knowledge of the procure to pay process and workforce management and payroll process

8.An understanding of project management principles and the software development lifecycle, including defining requirements, creating use cases, generating and reporting test results, as well as providing end-user support, to ensure solutions and processes meet business requirements.

9.    Excellent oral and written communication skills

10. Possess strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new applications

11. Ability to manage processes, analyze information, and problem solve

12. High level of professionalism

13. Ability/desire to work within a fast-paced environment

14. Organized and detail oriented

15.Ability to provide world-class customer service
